1990
Asset Management Resources (AMR) began operations in 1990 as Corporate Resources Property Tax Management, Inc. (CRPTM) – this business was focused on providing unique Personal Property Tax consulting services, including fixed asset inventory and reconciliation (FAIR), to large manufacturers.
1993
CRPTM expanded the business model to address the unique concerns of large organizations surrounding Information Technology Assets – CRPTM changed its name to Corporate Resources International (CRI) in 1993.
Two distinct lines of business were then established:
1997
CRI was acquired by Inacom Corporation in 1997 and operated as an independent division focused on Equipment Asset Management in both lines of business.
2000
CRI remained part of Inacom until June 2000 when CRI re-incorporated as Asset Management Resources, Inc. with the original management and core employees intact.
2001
TEKsystems, Inc., an Allegis Group, Inc. company, acquired AMR in January 2001. TEKsystems' technical workforce is located in over 90 offices throughout the United States and Canada and includes more than 15,000 IT professionals supporting over 5,000 clients.
The Information Technology Asset Management line of business was integrated into TEKsystems as a core offering, and the Fixed Asset Management line of business continues to operate as AMR (an independent operating division of TEKsystems).
AMR is a division of TEKsystems, Inc., an Allegis Group, Inc. company.
